You have questions.

  • If you need to file a car insurance claim, you can call our Brawley office and speak to our claims specialist, or call your carrier directly to begin the claim process.

  • Full coverage car insurance is a catch-all term used to describe a policy that combines liability, comprehensive, and collision coverages. Optional coverages are also available to add to your policy. See above for more about standard and optional car insurance coverages.

  • Liability coverage serves as protection for you and pays for someone else’s injuries and/or property damage you are found liable for in the event of a car accident.

  • Having minimum state liability limits can be tempting if you are trying to save money on your car insurance. Doing so, however, can result in major out-of-pocket expenses or even a lawsuit if you are found liable for an accident. For that reason, our agency will not write any policy with minimum state liability limits.

  • Although optional in California and Arizona, our agency will not write any car insurance policy without medical payments coverage. Not only will medical payments coverage pay for your medical bills, but it will also pay for the medical bills of any of your passengers regardless of who is at fault for the accident. Having this coverage on your car insurance policy can help you avoid a potential lawsuit.

  • Our agents will need the following information to give you a car insurance quote: name, date of birth, marital status, occupation, and the driver’s license number for all drivers in your household. Our agents will also need the vehicle identification numbers (VIN) and odometer readings for all cars you want to insure. Additional information may be required under certain circumstances for eligibility or discount purposes.

We have answers.

  • Some of our car insurance carriers will provide coverage in Mexico. The coverage, however, is limited to your car only once the car is back in the United States. There is no coverage available for the other person’s damaged property or injuries. Please contact our office regarding Mexican liability insurance.

  • There will be no difference in premium whether you decide to purchase or lease your car.

  • Paying off your car won’t lower your insurance premium, however, you can save money by reducing your coverage to liability only.

  • Some carriers allow permissive use as long as the person borrowing your car has a valid driver’s license and does not reside in your household. If the person borrowing your car is a member of your household, they must be added to your car insurance policy.

  • Assuming that your car insurance policy allows permissive use, in the event of an accident, your insurance policy would pay for damages caused by the person who borrowed your car.

  • You might have recently added a new car or a new driver to your policy. A new traffic violation or at-fault accident could also be affecting your policy’s premium. Other common examples include a general rate increase, an increase in your estimated annual mileage, or the cost to repair one or more of the vehicles on your policy could have increased. Call or visit our office and speak to one of our knowledgeable customer service representatives about ways to save.
